Alkimos FC Awards Night 2021 Wrap

A fantastic night had by all at the Union Kitchen in Mindarie as the club celebrated it’s first year.

Not only a celebration of the players, special thanks also went to the committee and families of players who have given so much time and effort to the club too.

Masters take out the Alkimos FC Cup!

Congratulations to the Masters who took out the club’s inaugural Alkimos FC Cup!

After going behind in the first half, the Masters stormed home in the second half to record a resounding 8-2 victory.

A great day and a fantastic way to sign off – congratulations to Michael Cuthbert and his team on a fantastic, trophy-winning season!

Kids Training Returns October 24th

Our kids training to return at 8:30am on October 24th at St James Anglican School.

Out of everything going on at Alkimos FC at the moment as we prepare for next season, launching our first kids team is the most exciting!

Ever since we starting kicking a football in 2020, our mini mossies have been out there every Sunday to practice their skills and support the club.

In season 2022 we can’t wait to repay our young players, with an opportunity to represent the club and compete wearing in famous Alkimos FC shirt.

Awards Night Selling Fast!

Alkimos FC will host its first awards night on the 16th October at Union Kitchen.

All players, coaches and supporters are welcome to celebrate an incredible year. Awards for Player’s Player, Clubman of the Year and Top Goalscorer will be among many of the awards handed out, as we get together to look back on a season in which we learnt a lot and established ourselves.

Inaugural Women’s Team Launches in 2022

Our women’s team looks forward to kicking off in season 2022 after a year of training and recruitment.

Showing it isn’t only the men who have a passion for football, Alkimos FC is excited to see the women’s team to commence their inaugural season next year.

A lot of work has gone on behind the scenes to get the team this far, with over 20 ladies registering their interest this year to play for the club in 2022.

Before the season begins, there is much more work to do – kits, player registrations, coach and captain appointments – and special thanks to Russ Meredith and Michael Cuthbert who have worked tirelessly to ensure our women are represented in Football West’s 2022 season!
